Walking Dead game jam entry

Catpocalypse Meow by RIP Studios

Catpocalypse Meow was a game developed for a game jam “The Walking Dead all out war Game Jam”. The game was developed in 2 weeks with the first week being just by myself getting the core gameplay implemented. The second week was polishing and adding art assets.

I did the majority of the coding. Level design was done by myself and Bradon Hernandez. Level assets were marketplace assets and some assets created by me (about 50/50). The cats and 2D UI art were done by Abraham Huacuja.

This game was my first attempt at using Unity, so there was a fair amount of learning involved in the 2 week sprint. I could have stuck with Unreal Engine, but decided I was going to experiment with something new. The game itself turned out pretty well considering the short timeframe and learning curve. I am also thankful for my team to come in and support this at the last half as some of this was beyond my scope.
